Short Moral Story on Teamwork for Kids

Ritu and her friends were excited for Sports Day at school. Their favorite game was the Big Ball Race, where teams had to push a huge soft ball across the field.

Ritu’s team started strong.
But soon, the ball wobbled and rolled to the side.

“I can do it alone!” said Arnav, pushing hard.
“No, let me push!” shouted Kaira.

Everyone pushed in different directions.
The ball didn’t move forward at all—it just spun in circles!

Their teacher walked over and pointed to a line of ants carrying a large breadcrumb.
“Look closely,” she said.
All the ants moved together, in the same direction… slowly but surely.

Ritu smiled.
“If tiny ants can be a team, so can we!”

They made a plan:
One person would guide, two would push from the back, and the rest would keep the ball steady.

“Ready… TEAM!” shouted Ritu.

This time, the giant ball rolled smoothly—straight to the finish line.
Ritu’s team won second place, but they felt like champions.

“See?” Ritu laughed, “Teamwork makes every goal easier!”

Moral: When we work together, big challenges become easy.
